On April 2, 2021, the Town of Merrimack will officially celebrate its 275th Birthday. As part of the Town’s yearlong celebration, the Parks & Recreation Department invites you to join them on Saturday, May 15th for this historic event by participating in a 2.75 mile “Not Quite A 5K Run/Walk” in Celebration of Merrimack’s history.
This family-friendly road race is perfect for both avid runners and recreational walkers alike. The relatively flat course begins and ends in the heart of historic downtown Merrimack at Merrimack Town Hall. The race will be professionally timed by North Star Timing and will employ a “time trial start” format that will facilitate “social distancing”. Participants will be seeded based on their self-submitted paces and sorted by pace from fastest to slowest.
